The body language of the figures in your tarot deck can be an important key to the meanings of the cards.
Spread the cards in your favorite layout, and then look at the physical relationships of the characters in the cards.
- Who is coming into the spread?
- Who is leaving the spread?
- Who is facing whom?
- Which ones are having a conversation?
- Which ones are saying the exact same thing?
- Which ones are contradicting the others?
- Who is avoiding whom?
You can also look for indications that some of the cards might be representing common interests.
- Which characters share similar expressions, poses, or costumes?
- Which characters seem to be in the same general setting, with similar landscapes and backgrounds?
- Which cards are similar in color or tone?
